BIRKDALE FARM FAQ's
- Will I need a 4x4 to access the farm?
No, the middle section of the mile and a half long lane is unmade so it can be a bit bumpy and muddy in winter but you won’t need a four wheel drive. We work hard to keep on top of potholes but not all the lane is in our control so sometimes there are one or two.
- Can I walk to a shop for essentials?
Yes, it’s a nice 1.5 mile walk along the lane to Terrington where there is an excellent village shop stocking all the essentials and many treats besides! There is a café too, open from 10am, serving fabulous cream teas and lunch platters as well as sandwiches and sausage rolls.
- Do you provide baby equipment in the barn?
